Transition Spacers / Adapters | Regular Round to Enve In-Route

Why do you want it?

If you have a bike that uses electronic shifting and integrated hose / cable routing through the headset via the Enve In-Route system and are looking for adapters to allow you to use a regular round stem with the hoses / cables routed under the stem.

These adapters / transition spacers sit on top of the hoses / cables and fit over split spacers. This cleans up the look, allowing you to raise the hose exit to the top of your spacer stack. It also means that this spacer does not affect the ability to pass hydraulic hose nuts. This product only fits 1 1/8 steerers and does not work with 1 1/4.

What is it?

This product is part of a family of stem adapters 3D printed using HP's Nylon 12 with 40% glass bead fill for compression strength and dimensional stability. This product has 10mm of stack.

As mentioned before, you can use Enve In-Route split spacers under this adapter.

How is it Made?

These parts are printed in the USA on Commercial Grade HP Multi-Jet Fusion machines. Parts, like these, designed to hold preload are made using PA12GB. While this material costs over 2x more than traditional PA12 Nylon, the addition of the glass increases its strength under compression by 80% and in this application, eliminates creep. Given that SLS and MJF printed nylons are only 60%-70% of the density of the high-pressure injection-molded parts made by OEMs, this assures OEM level performance.
