Why do you want it?
You are looking to lower your position with a stem that's got the Classic good looks of a round profile stem and the modern functionality of fully Internal Cable Routing.
Loaded with routing options this stem includes a way to route hoses either:
- Under the stem and then into the a central routing channel in the bars
- Into the stem through the headset and then out the underside stem clamp
- Into the stem through the headset and then into the bar for fully internal routing
You are riding a bike that has uses an electronic drivetrain and are willing to give up compatibility with mechanical drivetrains.
What is it?
This 3D-printed stem is made from 3D-printed, vacuum heat-treated 6/4 Titanium. The initial design is a -17 degree stem that is designed only for 2 hydraulic hoses when used for fully internal routing. It has a 35mm stack and a 44mm clamping area. The stem is has an upper and lower bolt spacing of 32mm c-c.
It comes in 120mm, 130mm, 140mm, and 150mm lengths.
Each stem also comes with a headset cover compatible with the FSA ACR series of headsets, 30mm of spacers, and an additional 5mm under-hose routing adapter.
How is it Made?
The stems are printed from 6/4Ti and then undergo a vacuum heat treatment that reduces voids.
The stems were developed and tested to exceed ISO 4210 standards.
