Why do you want it?
If you have a bike with electronic shifting and integrated hose/cable routing through the headset using the FSA ACR system, and are looking for adapters to use a Deda Superbox V1 or V2 Stem.
Maybe it's because you prefer the look, or maybe it's because you need a 150mm or 160mm stem to make your fit work, and there are no other fully integrated stems on the market at those lengths.
These adapters / transition spacers can be used directly with the stem as shown or with the Deda external hose tray. It is not compatible with Alanera split spacers. If you wish to use split spacers with your setup, we advise using the FSA ACR split spacers under this transition spacer rather than using Deda Superbox V1 spacers above it.
This product fits only 1 1/8 steerers and is not compatible with 1 1/4.
What is it?
This product is part of a family of stem adapters 3D printed using HP's Nylon 12 with 40% glass bead fill for compression strength and dimensional stability.
This product has 5mm of stack.
As mentioned before, you can use FSA ACR split spacers under this adapter. Please note that these are not included. This sale is for the adapter only and does not include any stems or other items pictured.
How is it Made?
These parts are printed in the USA on Commercial Grade HP Multi-Jet Fusion machines. Parts, like these, designed to hold preload are made using PA12GB. While this material costs over 2x more than traditional PA12 Nylon, the addition of the glass increases its strength under compression by 80% and in this application, eliminates creep. Given that SLS and MJF printed nylons are only 60%-70% of the density of the high-pressure injection-molded parts made by OEMs, this assures OEM level performance.
